1. What This Privacy Policy Covers

1.1. This General Privacy Policy covers ScrapMitra's treatment of personally identifiable information, business information, and financial information that ScrapMitra collects when you use the ScrapMitra mobile application (Android and iOS) and its associated services, regardless of whether you register as a Buyer or a Seller.

1.2. This policy also covers ScrapMitra's treatment of any information that ScrapMitra's service providers (such as Firebase/Google Cloud) may process on ScrapMitra's behalf in connection with the operation of the Platform.

1.3. Role-Specific Privacy Policies. In addition to this General Privacy Policy, your use of the Platform is governed by the applicable role-specific privacy policy:

• Buyers: Buyer Privacy Policy
• Sellers: Seller Privacy Policy

Where this General Privacy Policy and a role-specific privacy policy conflict, the role-specific policy shall prevail to the extent of the conflict.

1.4. What This Policy Does Not Cover. This policy does not apply to:

• (a) the practices of companies that ScrapMitra does not own or control;
• (b) people that ScrapMitra does not employ or manage;
• (c) information shared directly between Buyers and Sellers after a Winning Bid is approved — such post-approval interactions occur outside the Platform and are beyond ScrapMitra's control;
• (d) third-party services, websites, or applications that may be linked from or integrated with the Platform.
